NCO Receivables Management Solutions offers a full range of collection services to meet the specific
needs of small - to medium-sized credit grantors, those involved in businesses and professional/medical
organizations.
The NCO Receivables Management Solutions Tandem Program
NCO Receivables Management Solutions leading product is the Tandem Program. The Tandem
Program is a two-phase, full-service collection program.
- In the service's first (or Primary Phase), accounts are pursued
and collected for a low, fixed-fee per account, and all payments
are directed back to the credit grantor.
- In the Tandem Program's optional Secondary Contingent Recovery
Division (SCRD), or the Secondary Phase, accounts that are non-responsive
in the program's Primary Phase may be worked on a contingent-fee
basis.
The Tandem Program's Primary Phase services are available in several
"levels of service" - i.e. levels of collection effort. And all
Tandem Programs can be used to recover delinquent accounts, bad
checks, or both. This gives NCO Receivables Management Solutions the ability to provide clients with
collection programs that meet their specific recovery needs.
To determine the correct level(s) of service, NCO Receivables Management Solutions will perform
a no-charge receivables analysis. Based on the findings of that analysis, NCO Receivables Management Solutions will recommend
the most appropriate service level to meet the client's recovery
needs. Factors evaluated and considered during the receivables analysis
include age of the accounts, balances owed, validity of available
debtor/debt information, and prior internal and external recovery
efforts.
All Tandem Program levels of service include the following services
in the Primary Phase:
- Multiple call campaigns by professional collectors using predictive
dialing systems.
- Calls campaigns are conducted weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Up to six written contacts with the debtor.
- On qualifying accounts, and at the client's discretion, a contact
will be forwarded to the debtor from a collection attorney.
Selected Tandem Program service levels may also include:
- Reporting of non-responsive debtors to credit bureaus nationally.
- Assignment of a "personal collection officer" to the client's
accounts.
- Use of overnight services to deliver collection contacts to
the debtor and pickup of debtor payments with overnight delivery
to the creditor.
- Assumption of all administrative collection/follow-up responsibility
by NCO Receivables Management Solutions.
At the client's option, accounts not recovered in the Primary Phase
can automatically be transferred to the Secondary Contingent Recovery
Division (SCRD).
SCRD is a "workout" division that is specially structured to pursue
and salvage second placements (e. g., accounts that have previously
been worked unsuccessfully by an agency as a primary placement).
Full-service collection efforts are provided in the Secondary Phase,
and payments are directed to NCO Receivables Management Solutions. SCRD services are provided for
a straight contingent fee of up to 50 percent, which includes forwarding
to a litigation attorney, if warranted, at NCO Receivables Management Solutions discretion and
expense. And, in SCRD, if there is no collection, there is no charge.
All NCO Receivables Management Solutions Tandem Programs are available in two formats:
- The traditional paper-based service that is packaged much like
a "one write" accounting system. The client completes transmittal
documents (referred to as activators) and sends them to NCO Receivables Management Solutions
to begin collection activity.
- Tandem Online
